I have made this ear cuff using 1.5 mm gold filled beaded wire.
It has been cut to size, filed and shaped to fit.
The diameter is approx 1 cm.

Gold filled is made by fusing a layer of gold onto another metal. It has 100% more gold than gold plated and can last for many years with the right care. It does not chip or peel as easily as gold plated jewellery.
